I am a designer of plumbing, piping and fire protection systems with forty years experience. My rule of thumb is never do anything twice, if at all possible. To this end, I began writing software in the early 1990's designed for the plumbing designer to assist me in my work.
In 1993, Version 1.0, a MS-DOS program, containing ten utilities was being freely given to friends for use. By 1998, Version 3, with fourteen utilities was released for sale to those interested, based on receiving requests for the software from total strangers. Version 4 was released in 1999. This version was totally rewritten in Windows format incorporating twenty four utilities.
Version 5 was a free upgrade with thirty utilities. Version 6 included thirty five utilities. Version 6 is the current version and is in release 8.
